MLS’ Worst XI

By: Robert | May 19th, 2008

That about says it…

Dario Sala, Duilio Davino, Pablo Ricchetti, Abe Thompson, Juan Toja, Andre Rocha, Arturo Alvarez, Drew Moor, Adrian Serioux, Anthony Wallace, Kenny Cooper

That’s it, that’s the list. If you can’t tell that’s yesterday’s lineup from the public beating match versus the LA Galaxy. Those guys were terrible, an absolute embarrassment to the Hoops shirt. I don’t even know where to begin. It seems like Steve Morrow’s plan for MLS glory this season goes something like this:

Step 1) Start undefeated against some of the stronger teams in the league.
Step 2) Embarrass self against the weaker sides
Step 3) ???
Step 4) PROFIT!!!

I don’t get how it’s supposed to work either.

Steve Morrow is one performance like that away from me calling for his head. There is a competitive team in Dallas and for the past month he hasn’t been able to find it.

But its not all on him, the players deserve some of this too, those bunch of…@#^$$#&^@$*&@#$(*@##$^%(@#***&^%&@!!!!

(Something like that)

No sexy women pictures for them, they get a team Roseanne Barr, holding up how many goals we’ve allowed LA in two of the last three games. Absolutely terrible indeed.

The only thing that came out of last night’s home locker room that I agreed with was this quote from Steve Morrow.

“We’re all ashamed of ourselves.”

You’d better be, because this is Dallas where we may not expect greatness all the time but we demand our FC stand for “fielding competence” and that ain’t it.

HOOPS PRIDE!

    First we collect the underpants!

    Then . . . ??????

    Then, we make a profit!

What is happening in Dallas? You guys are killing my fantasy team like EVERY week!

Kenny Cooper was by far your best player, Arturo Alvarez completely and utterly dissappeared.

Daryl, allow me to disagree. In a 5-1 loss there are no “best players” just different levels of awful.

We’ll give you Rod Dyachenko for any of the above.

This team is a joke. I predict a 1-nil loss next week at home against Real Salt Lake followed by the team being booed off the field by the 8,000 of us who still care about coming to watch this mess, followed by Morrow being fired Monday Morning. (Wait Monday is Memorial day) Tuesday Morning.

Skeeter, I can never drag myself to predict a Hoops loss, but I understand the frustration completely.

These recent games were supposed to be a chance to put a ton of points on the board and run off and hide in the western conference table and we’ve done the exact opposite.
