Where’s Our Sponsor?

It looks like the Hoops may finally land a coveted shirt sponsor; The Dallas News is reporting that the Hoops are in the process of negotiating a five year deal with a few unnamed sponsors. But it doesn’t sound like things are going smoothly

“As far as a timeline, we’d like it to get it done with the right company as soon as possible,” Hitchcock said. “But we are also not in the position where we are pushing ourselves to make a bad decision and bring a bad company.”

Not only is Candlewick one of the most storied children’s book publisher in Somerville, Massachusetts, it’s also the publisher of the award winning Where‘s Waldo? series.

Since Waldo is already wearing a Hoops shirt we won’t need to disfigure our shirt by printing an out of place sponsor name on it (looking at you Chicago). Instead we can just throw Waldo hats on the all the players and we’re set. And the best part is we already have a Waldo mascot on our roster.
