Masters Hangover…
By: Scott | April 13th, 2009Man Augusta is beautiful but its nice to be home! Well on to the Hoops….oops they arent called that anymore…FCD…
Toronto was a better game. The counterattack was nice this game but there are still passes to no one. Dax got forward alot more this game. With a little luck he should have had two goals that the woodwork denied. What this team needs to do is finish. Almost only counts in horseshoes and handgranades. A couple of times during the game KC put one too many touches on the ball. He has had his opportunities to score and just waits one step too long. PULL THE TRIGGER! Rocha shooting from outside 15 is great to see also. FCD just needs some of those shots to go and other teams will be forced to extend the defense and make life easy on Jr.
Now on to the bus driver. What the hell was he thinking taking Cooper out of the game so late and inserting a defender. Playing for a draw? This team needs inspiration not a move that intimates a coach that doesnt believe in his players. We gotta play for a win. This team needs a kick in the butt. While a point was nice to get on the board what did that substitute tell the team? Good coaches can get the result out of players…are we going to see that from Schellas?

Yea Babs its the final piece of the puzzle for this team I think. We have the talent. The tactical knowledge is there. Even if you dont like Schellas you have to give him his knowledge. He is a very knowledgable soccer mind. This team really resembles Frankenstein to me. There are some players from the old regime. Some players from the new regime. They really arent meshing too well. I just wish he would have looked at what he had and tried to work with it. This team has always been good enough. The coaches havent been great. We are suffering from that now.
