speculating on the draft and kenny cooper
By: Scott | January 6th, 2009Well the MLS draft is coming up and the question in my mind is why even bother showing up? The team i.e. the bus driver has made it quite clear that hes not youth minded. Its pretty obvious that we are not going to draft youth. Lets just stay home and sit with our allocation money and make deals from the Hut. From what I know we have a basket full of allocation money. Why are is the club waiting to make a move for players? It seems as though we are picking dodgeball and FCD is going to be left picking the worst guy on the playground.
As far as KC goes….looks like we are going to keep him. Lets just hope that the bus driver can put a team together around him. With respect to him staying his stock can only go up if he stays healthy…good for him bad for the team and the league.
