Under 7k for a home opener? Wow. We may be seeing the franchise move at this point. Ouch.

I am telling you; That Denilson debacle really put a hurt on you guys.

It actually wasn’t the home opener. I think the fan support was better for the first game. But still, pretty sad. I’m an FCD fan, but I’ve never liked the fact that they built in Frisco. It’s just so stinking far from a ton of the DFW population. I live on the Southeast side of Fort Worth, and I’m guessing Frisco is 2 hours away in traffic. I just have never had the urge to go. If they’d built in a mid-city suburb, or stayed in Dallas, then I think it would have been a lot easier to reach for a lot of fans. And I would say especially for the Hispanic fans. Ugh. Embarrassing.

It really isnt as far as 2 hours. Even in traffic you can get there from an hour. I used to live in Fort Worth so I know, go on a weekend, traffic wont be as bad!

Frisco doesn’t seem to embrace the team like other towns.

I am starting to think Pizza Hut Park is a concert venue first, and occasionally soccer is played there. good grief….

Oops, I accidentally wrote Southeast Fort Worth and meant Southwest. I actually live in Granbury, so it’s 30 minutes just to get to FW from here. Then another hour and a half to Frisco, I believe. But maybe I’m not really part of DFW anyway.

we should move to the irving stadium…. i hate driving to frisco. the owners wanted to save money with the cheap land in frisco but they actually lost way more on dropping tickiet sales. i love fc dallas but i hate that they play in frisco.
